Mangrove Restoration Initiative

The Mangrove Restoration Initiative focuses on rehabilitating degraded mangrove forests that are vital to the Niger Delta's ecosystem and local livelihoods.

Working with local communities, we have planted over 500,000 mangrove seedlings across 200 hectares of degraded land. The project also provides alternative livelihood training to reduce dependence on mangrove resources.

This initiative has been recognized as a model for community-based environmental restoration in the region.
